State University
Project: Library
Overview: Our team helped transform this university library by removing uniform purple broadloom and replacing it with carpet tile planks that have a linear, organic design with pops of vibrant colors that bleed out from the grey field tones. One unique task for us in this flooring project was to cover a concrete bench in the pit area with some sort of material besides broadloom. There aren’t many flooring materials suited for this application so we used vinyl stringer material and wall base for the sides and Tarkett “Mesto Configurations” rubber tile on the bench top. The students, faculty, and facilities personnel are blown away by the difference the new flooring has made in the library!
Materials: Interface Carpet Plank, Armstrong VCT, Johnsonite Vinyl and Rubber
