GP Flooring Solutions President & CEO, Abby Reinhard, was named the 2020 Loretta Simmons Women’s Leadership Award Winner by the Gates-Chili Chamber of Commerce.
This annual award is named after the Chamber’s first president and honors women in leadership roles throughout the area who contribute to the betterment of the community.
Abby is honored to be the recipient of the Loretta Simmons Women’s Leadership Award. She shares the honor with the entire GP Flooring team and expressed how happy GP Flooring Solutions has been to be a part of the Gates community since relocating in 2019. As a New York State MWBE company, this award is especially meaningful to Abby and the entire GP Flooring Solutions team. Abby was proud to be among the individuals, community groups, and businesses honored for their commitment to improving the Gates and Chili communities through beautification, citizenship, arts and culture, leadership, economic development, and commerce.
From the Gates-Chili Chamber of Commerce: Abby Reinhard took ownership of GP Flooring Solutions, a full-service commercial flooring contractor, in January 2015. The firm is a certified women-owned business. Since purchasing the company, it has more than tripled in revenue and quadrupled the number of employees. The company outgrew its space in Brockport, and last year moved to its new location at 32 Marway Circle in Gates. The Chamber welcomed the business at its grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on May 30, 2019. GP Flooring Solutions is ranked on the 2019 INC. 5000 List by Inc. Magazine as one of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. In 2018, Abby won the Small Business Council of Rochester’s Business Person of the Year Award for the under 50 Employees Category, and she was also a winner of the Future Focus Award by Floor Focus magazine. She is a shining example of empowerment through entrepreneurship. Congratulations Abby!
