As president and company owner, I am proud to lead our extraordinary team. My role is to ensure we are all well equipped to win the trust of our customers with exceptional customer service and skilled execution. I manage the five members of our leadership team with a focus on process improvement and company culture. I also enjoy meeting with everyone on our team individually and collectively to continually gain insight, remove obstacles and seize new opportunities to be our best. Overseeing our work, I develop key relationships, drive our sales and marketing efforts, handle all things HR and legal, develop strategic initiatives, and implement business best practices for operations and management. I’ve been featured in Floor Focus magazine, Talk Floors, and Floor Covering Weekly. I hold a bachelor’s degree in organizational studies (Univ. of Michigan), a master’s degree in leadership and management (Harvard Univ.) With professional experience ranging from marketing communications to sales, I achieved the dream of owning a small business in January 2015 when I purchased GP Land & Carpet. Now rebranded as GP Flooring Solutions, our team is an extension of my family. I enjoy serving on the boards of The Hochstein School of Music and Dance, Blackfriars Theatre, and Fuse Commercial Flooring Alliance. In 2017, I became a proud graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. I am also honored to have received the 2019 Enterprising Women of the Year award, recognition as Business Person of the Year in 2018 by the Small Business Council of Rochester, to have been identified as one of the top ten “Emerging Leaders” in our industry in 2018 by Floor Focus magazine, and to have been named 40 under 40 in 2016 by Rochester Business Journal. I’m most proud, however, to be named “mom” by Caroline, Leo and Amelie Reinhard.
I’m happy to be a part of the GP Flooring team, doing what I can to improve our operations. My background is as a project superintendent for large general contractors — first with Holder Construction Company and then with LeChase Construction Services. At GP, I enjoy working to improve execution on our job sites, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule. I studied Construction Management at Colorado State University and hold several industry certifications, including OSHA (30-hour training), evacuation safety; arc flash safety/code compliance; confined space; and first aid/CPR/ AED. When I’m not working I enjoy keeping up with my kids!
I joined GP Flooring Solutions after spending 15 years in sales management with Enterprise Holdings. I am passionate about my client relationships and understanding their flooring needs. At GP Flooring Solutions, we are uniquely staffed with highly professional and well-trained sales associates that respond quickly with outstanding customer service, and I am proud to be a part of this team. I received my degree in Business Management at SUNY Geneseo and now live and work in Grand Island, NY. My wife and I have two beautiful daughters and we love to travel and create new family memories. I am also a long suffering and optimistic Bills and Sabres fan. If they are playing, you will find me either at the game or watching it on TV.
My industry experience began in 1991 when I started out handling the NYS carpet contract sales. In that time, the role here has evolved from handling materials to administrative management and keeping our office running like a well-oiled machine. Married for 37 years, I have two sons who are also married. Faith and family are the most important to me, followed by GP’s core-value #7 – have fun and enjoy life!
I enjoy managing some of our largest projects, overseeing our work with general contractors, and serving as a helpful resource to all of our project managers. The first 15 years of my career were in construction management, first at Shawmut Design and Construction, where I led teams across the country, including an expansive Las Vegas operation overseeing nearly $100 million in projects along the Strip. I then moved to NY to be near family and led teams for LeChase Construction on the $150 million URMC Golisano Children’s Hospital, as well as the LEED Platinum Golisano Institute for Sustainability at RIT. I received a BS in civil engineering and certificates in construction management and business from the University of Wisconsin (GO BADGERS!) as well as an MBA at Boston College with a focus on strategic operations. I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, especially in the Finger Lakes – I love any chance to be on the water. Originally from Green Bay, WI, I’m a huge Packers fan.
As a Sales Consultant for GP Flooring, I work with clients throughout upstate and central NY State. My background includes 15 years of marketing and sales management experience with the Comag Marketing Group, an international distributor for the newsstand distribution of magazines. Most recently, I worked in outside sales with Dunbar Armored & ULINE. My career has positioned me very well to cultivate client relationships by ensuring outstanding service and value. I am a resident of Liverpool, NY, where I live with my wife of 13 years and our two children. As an athlete, life-long sports enthusiast, and proud son of a professional baseball player, I enjoy fitness and coaching my daughters’ sports teams.
I have joined GP Flooring after spending almost 18 years in the residential flooring business. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise of retail sales, flooring solutions, and warehouse management to the company. I have supervised well over 50 employees throughout my career as a Senior Purchasing Manager and Warehouse Manager in the Rochester area. It Is my goal to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, promote growth, and live the organization’s core values and mission. Married for over 5 years, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing darts, and watching my Favorite team, the Green Bay Packers play some football!
As a project manager and estimator, I focus on responding to bids and executing on large capital projects for general contractors and construction managers. I earned my degree in Engineering at RIT, and with over 15 years in the flooring business, I have experience with just about every flooring application available. When I am not working, I enjoy football, camping, traveling, and spending time with my six kids.
After numerous years of working in many different job industries, I made the best decision in transitioning into the Commercial Flooring sector. After becoming a member of the GP Flooring Solutions team, it was made apparent very quickly that I have found a career instead of a job, and also a second family. In my spare time I love to cook, go on driving adventures, spend time with my family and friends, and take care of my fur baby ( Pepper, the cat).
In my current role as a project lead, I support our sales efforts and continue to build on my seven years of flooring sales experience. I started at GP helping out in the warehouse, and my career grew from there. When I am not at work, I enjoy many outdoor activities.
My role with GP lets me do what I enjoy the most – meet new people, and work together to create solutions. Originally from Brockport, NY, I have lived in Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Boston and returned in 2011. With flooring as a family business, some of my earliest memories are climbing on rolls of carpet. I have always known that this would be my career. A hockey fanatic and former player for Villanova University, I’m married and the proud father of two young children.
With a family heavily involved in the flooring business, I have been able to see many different aspects of this industry. From manufacturing and sales to service and installation, I have enjoyed growing in my career, and now growing with this great company.
After working with General Contractors for four years, I have enjoyed the transition to the commercial flooring business. At GP Flooring Solutions, I support administrative and project operations. Originally from a small town outside the Philadelphia, PA region, I moved to Western New York for a change in scenery. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, spending time with my friends, and traveling home to PA to visit my family.
I have many years of experience providing customer service and administrative support in a wide range of environments — from industrial valves and fittings to school bus transportation to high end audio-video to fast food. I am happy to have joined the Team at GP flooring Solutions and am enjoying learning about the commercial flooring industry. I have a big family of siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins — and enjoy hanging out and playing games with them whenever possible. At home I love my three cats, reading, and taking walks. And I love to drive and go on adventures to places where I have never been.
As a Senior Project Manager, I focus on securing and executing all types of projects while always striving to exceed the customers’ expectations. I have honed my abilities through my experience in general management, operations management, business development, estimation and project management. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, sports, and being outdoors. I am also an aircraft enthusiast.
I have many years of experience maintaining and cleaning floors, including six years as an Assistant Manager with a large janitorial and floor care company. Some years ago I had the opportunity to work with Larry Riggi, GP’s former Director of Maintenance, so when he contacted me about joining the team at GP, I was glad to do so. I enjoy the opportunity to travel to various locations to clean and maintain floors. And of course I love seeing the beautiful results that we are able to provide. My grandkids keep me busy when I am not at work. And I love playing and watching all kinds of sports – although it is usually more watching now that I am older!
Prior to finding my home at GP, I had a stint in insurance sales, but spent much of my professional career as a teacher, working with students ranging from kindergarten to adult. That experience helped prepare me for a career in sales where I get to work closely with customers and share information that can help. My background as a singer and actress means I bring creativity to the table too. Getting to blend my experience in education while creatively helping my clients “pick pretty things” and solve any flooring challenge is basically a dream job. My years at GP have been so rewarding because of my fun-loving – yet hard working – colleagues.
After working in a number of different industries, I made the switch to the commercial flooring industry at GP Flooring Solutions. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, spending time with my family and friends, and playing golf and rugby.
As a Sr. Sales Consultant, my job is to meet specific customer needs and build lasting relationships by providing cost-effective solutions and services. Exceeding expectations in the flooring industry demands integrity, professionalism, and a genuine focus on client satisfaction. As a proud husband and father of two, hard work, diligence, and loyalty define my character. I’m glad to be a part of such a great company that allows continual product training to ensure that our clients receive accurate and detailed information. My background includes working in construction, finance, sales, sports and fitness, as well as counseling.
As an account representative at GP Flooring, I enjoy working with our team and learning how to provide the right solutions for our customers. Previous to my role here, I was with the Brockport Police Department where I retired after 28 years, and spent 25 years as a building inspector for the City of Rochester. I’m a die hard Yankees fan, and World War II history buff. Go ahead, ask me anything.
As a career sales professional, providing solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations is what I enjoy the most. In my position as a Sr. Sales Consultant, I am grateful for the opportunity to meet many new people and build lasting customer relationships. I’m a volunteer firefighter and a member of the Board of Directors at the Brighton Fire Dept. I’m married with two boys, who give me a run for my money, but I’m enjoying every second of it.
I handle Accounts Payable and AIA billing for the company as well as oversee contracts with General Contractors. I wear many hats for the company and provide administrative support wherever possible. I have a daughter who is in graduate school, a son that attends SUNY Brockport, and another son in high school. We are an active family involved in both soccer and hockey, and I love being outside – especially in warm summer weather.
My flooring career has covered all ends of the industry spectrum, from tract work, manufacturer’s rep, sales and management, commercial contracts, and business ownership. I have three grown, successful children, and three grandchildren. My family has helped me become a better listener than talker, which always helps with my clients. With many friends and a loving family, I am one truly blessed individual. I enjoy golf, but it doesn’t like me.
I joined GP Flooring Solutions in 2019 after working on the supplier side of the industry for over 7 years, gaining experience with all types of flooring products. I have a degree in Marketing/Advertising from University of Buffalo, but have always worked in a construction-related field. When I am not working, I can be found refinishing antique furniture, as well as coaching competitive soccer, which I have done for over 10 years. All this would not be possible without the support of my daughter Alyssa, and wife Stacy.
